Because children get sick at all hours of the day, we do NOT have a special call-in hour. Our capable nursing staff will answer most questions you may have during the times listed above. When you call, let us know you want to leave a message for a nurse and expect a return call that same day. If you have a message for a provider please let one of our administrative staff know and they will pass message along.
MAKING APPOINTMENTS
ALWAYS call for an appointment before you bring your child to the office. We will try our best to schedule acutely-ill children that same day. Please try to avoid calling near the end of office hours so that we might best accommodate your child’s needs. If more than one child needs to be seen, PLEASE tell us when you call.
You can now book same-day sick appointments through MyChart starting at midnight, even on weekends. If you need access, please call our office. Some issues might require more time, and you might be asked to call and discuss with a nurse to schedule the best appointment available.
Weekend sick appointments can be made by calling after 8am or booking on MyChart after midnight. These appointments are only for urgent issues that cannot wait until normal business hours on weekdays, and are not for chronic issues or routine follow ups.
When making appointments for routine physicals, please call between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. We advise that you call 3 months in advance of when your child needs their routine physical.
After Office Hours
We are available for urgent calls 24/7. If an urgent issue arises when the office is closed, please call our office number and you will be able to leave a message with our answering service who will contact the provider on call. Make sure you do not have caller ID block applied to your phone. If you have not heard back within 30 minutes please call back and let the answering service know and verify your phone number.
